Who we are
Mario spent 15 years as a Professor of Economics and Finance at ISEG, Lisbon Technical University and three years as IMF Expert Consultant in Eastern European Countries.
He had also a career in Public Administration, first as Deputy Director of Treasury and later as a Member of the Parliament and Chairman of the Budget and Finance Commission of the Portuguese Parliament and finally as Secretary of State for Health.
Then he worked in Portuguese banks, first as senior risk advisor at Eurobic and later as CEO at BPG.
He has also a large experience as senior investments consultant for international corporations and mid-caps.
The decision to found MVPA Consulting UK is based on the vision that, after Brexit, a lot of exciting opportunities of consultancy will arise, to serve UK and Portuguese and other European Union corporations, and to enhance their trade and investments partnerships, in a new and challenging environment of public policies and regulations.
